 About Historic Bethabara Park

  • Historic Bethabara Park is the 1753 site of the first Moravian Settlement in North Carolina.
  • Moravians are German Pietists, who trace their origins to the Bohemian Priest, Jan Hus, martyred in 1415.
  • Historic Bethabara Park is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
  • The City of Winston-Salem and the County of Forsyth share the annual administrative budget. The City Department of Recreation and Parks is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings and grounds.
