About Historic Bethabara Park

Historic Bethabara Park is the 1753 site of the first Moravian Settlement in North Carolina.
Moravians are German Pietists, who trace their origins to the Bohemian Priest, Jan Hus, martyred in 1415.
Historic Bethabara Park is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The City of Winston-Salem is responsible for the annual administrative budget. The city Department of Recreation and Parks is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings and grounds.
Historic Bethbara Park is a National Historic Landmark.
