Salem Lake Park

Salem Lake has been called the hidden diamond in the city of Winston-Salem. Located minutes away from downtown Winston-Salem, Salem Lake offers a 365-acre lake with a 6.9-mile trail that offers a scenic view of the lake at all times.

The lake offers pier and boat fishing for hybrid bass, large mouth bass, catfish, crappie, bream, carp and white perch.

*(No fishing from banks. Boat motors over 50 horsepower must have prop removed to launch.)

The Fishing Station is stocked with all of your fishing needs and concessions needs should the hunger pangs get too painful while you are trying to hook the big one. A knowledgeable staff is always on hand to help you any equipment problems you might have or questions about which fish is hitting which bait.

Girl fishingThe Lake staff can also furnish you with your North Carolina Boat Registration and North Carolina Fishing License. Lake and Trail close 30 minutes before Park closes. Please be off the lake and the trail so the park can be closed properly.

Caution: Feeding the water fowl may be harmful to their health. DO NOT feed the ducks or the geese.
