Special Olympics Sponsorship
Forsyth County supporters make it happen! The people and businesses of Forsyth County make our Special Olympics program a reality. More than 1400 Special Olympics Forsyth County athletes will train and compete in local, area, and state Special Olympics opportunities this year, but we need your help to make it possible. Special Olympics Forsyth County is a non-profit organization that receives no federal, state, or local funding. Funds are raised annually through sponsorships, merchandise sales, and private donations.
Every donation counts Whether you sponsor an event, donate a basketball, or mail in $50, you are making a difference for our athletes. Athletes do not pay to participate in the program, so each dollar goes toward the equipment, uniforms, transportation, and facility fees they need.
Sponsors Many businesses find that serving as a SOFC sponsor is a unique way to give back to our community. They are invited to volunteer as well as make a donation. Their commitment benefits the community, and they often see improvements in employee morale, company reputation, and even profits.
