2008 Federal Certification Review

We're certified (and we want to stay that way)

The Federal Highway Administration, the Federal Transit Administration, and the Environmental Protection Agency want your opinion on whether transportation planning here is continuing, cooperative and comprehensive.

It’s part of a periodic certification of transportation planning and procedures in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, and the surrounding area, including King, Bermuda Run, Wallburg, Midway and portions of Davie, Davidson and Stokes counties.

If you live in these areas, we encourage you to attend a public meeting:

October 15, 2008
7:00 p.m.
City Hall, Room 239
101 N. Main Street
Winston-Salem.

Persons needing special provisions to attend the meeting should contact Greg Errett at the address below at least 48 hours in advance.

You may also submit written comments by 5 p.m. on Nov. 17:

  • By mail: Greg Errett, City of Winston-Salem DOT, P.O. Box 2511, Winston-Salem, NC 27102
  • By fax: (336) 748-3370
