Text of the Water Quality and Treatment video

At our water plants, we go to great lengths to make sure the water we produce is safe and clean. We test our water 180 times a month. Safe water is the first line of defense in public health.

But if your water looks suspicious, we can help. People call us all the time, asking where they can get their water tested. We tell them that if they are on our water system, we will do it for free. We'll even go out to their house to collect the sample.

I'm Kelly Parker, a chemist for the Utilities Division and I'm working for you.

[Please call 945-1179 to request that your water be tested]
