Construction and Demolition Waste Disposal

The Division operates a state-permitted, active, construction and demolition landfill for construction and demolition materials at Old Salisbury Road. There is sufficient land at the Old Salisbury Road Landfill to meet construction and demolition waste disposal needs until approximately the year 2013. In addition, the Division maintains one closed-out facility - the Overdale Landfill. For information about restrictions, rates, operating hours, please contact (336)727-8000.

Old Salisbury Road Demoliton Landfill: Take US 52 S. to Clemmonsville Road exit; Turn right and travel to #150; proceed south on #150 approximately 3 miles to the intersection of Hickory Tree and Old Salisbury roads; turn right; go 2/10 mile to site on left.
