Standing Committees

A. Operations Committee
This committee considers and recommends to the full City/County Utility Commission (CCUC) items related to the long-term operation of both the water/wastewater and solid waste disposal programs. The committee specifically deals with requests from developers for the extension of water/wastewater mains, petitions from potential customers for water/wastewater projects, and petitions for feasibility projects.

B. Finance Committee
This committee considers and recommends the full CCUC items related to the finances of both the water/wastewater and solid waste disposal programs. The committee specifically deals with resolutions authorizing annual operating and capital improvement budgets, expenditures for construction projects, service contracts, equipment and other product purchases, acquisition of land, and to hear citizens' requests for relief from assessment charges.
