Emergency Information for Residents

The Emergency Management Department coordinates with Forsyth County to plan for floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, winter storms, chemical spills, terrorist events, and other significant events or disasters.

In the event of a disaster of any sort, emergency public information will be disseminated in several ways. They include:

the Emergency Alert System
local news and radio stations
the NOAA Weather Radio, and
Reverse 911.

Call 911 if you have an emergency.
