Authority for Creation |
The authority for establishing the Utility Commission Review Committee was created by a resolution adopted by the City Council on July 7, 2008. |

Purpose/Function |
The purpose of this Committee is to look at the community's current needs and to confirm that the Utility Commission is operating under the best practice standards. |
| Method of Appointment |
Eight members are appointed by the City Council upon recommendation of the Mayor. The Chairman of the Committee shall be appointed by the Mayor. Any other assignments such as Vice Chair or subcommittee membership shall be made by a vote of the Committee members. |

The initial appointments shall be for a term that will expire when the review is completed. Any vacancy shall be filled only for the unexpired portion of the term. |
