The annual Apple Fest at Historic Bethabara Park is being held Saturday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with apples, crafts, children’s activities and live music headlined by Idlewild South, an Allman Brothers tribute band.
There will be local apples and honey, food vendors and food trucks, and local craftsmen offering paintings, baskets, jewelry, pottery, soaps, candles and more. There will also be live demonstrations of blacksmithing, woodworking, weaving, pottery and pewter crafts, plus pig racing, a petting zoo, a puppet show and colonial games. Live music will be provided by Idelwild South, the Morris Family and the Rising Ebenezer Choir. The South Fork Cloggers and the Academy of Dance will also perform.
