The full results of the 2018 Resident Satisfaction Survey, which asked Winston-Salem residents how they feel about city government, have been posted to the city website.
At cityofws.org/residentsurvey, you also will find the presentation of the final report that was made to a City Council committee in April.
About 10,000 surveys were mailed to randomly selected city residents in February, and those who weren't mailed surveys were invited to participate in the same survey online. The survey results are reflective of the city's demographic makeup.
The seven-page survey included general questions about what Winston-Salem is like as a place to live, work and raise children. It also asked in-depth questions about police and fire protection, utilities, sanitation, recreation and other city services.
The last Resident Satisfaction Survey was conducted in 2011. Five such surveys have been conducted by the city since 2006.
