Planning and Development Services - April 9, 2019

The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Public Art Commission is holding three meetings the week of April 15 and is conducting an online survey to solicit public input to guide its efforts over the coming 10 years.

Meetings will be held at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday, April 15 at the Center for Design Innovation, 450 Design Avenue, Winston-Salem (off Rams Drive); and at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at the Rupert Bell Recreation Center, 1501 Mt. Zion Place, Winston-Salem. All meetings are the same.

Each meeting will begin with a short presentation, followed by roundtable discussions. Participants will be asked to identify locations that they think are appropriate for public art, and to discuss what kinds of art they would like to see in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.

Residents who are not able to attend a meeting in person can provide input through a survey that the commission has posted at CityofWS.org/PublicArt.
