Human Relations - Sept. 20, 2019
Students from Winston-Salem/Forsyth County high schools will discuss their perspectives on race relations during the annual Student Race Relations Forum, to be held Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Central Library auditorium, 660 W. Fifth St., Winston-Salem. The forum is being facilitated by the city’s Youth Advisory Council and is free and open to the public.
The students will discuss the challenges and opportunities of interracial friendships in bridging America's racial divide. The forum is being sponsored by the Winston-Salem Human Relations Commission and is being held in conjunction with the Forsyth County Public Library's "On the Same Page" community reading program.
