Garrity said, "The selection of a new housing and neighborhood development director could not have worked out better. Mellin was selected from more than 150 applicants nationally and is a very capable person to lead this program. Having been here as a student, this is a great opportunity for her to come back to a community that she truly loved. I believe that she can hit the ground running, and we look forward to great things from her."
