The primary responsibility of the Housing Development Division is the administration of the Community Development Block Grant Program and the HOME Partnership Investment program.
Each of these programs involves federally funded resources that are provided to the City (and the County for HOME funds) on an annual basis. These are entitlement grants tied to a formula in which population, housing conditions, and other factors determine the amount of funds received.
