Our health insurance administration is provided by United Healthcare and is offered to all employees and their families. The city contributes toward the cost of health insurance. Employees are encouraged to participate in LifeSmart, our employee wellness program, and to get regular checkups and manage diseases for best health.
The city provides dental insurance for employees at no cost, and for employee's families at a monthly fee. The total maximum benefit per person is $1,000.
Term life insurance, long-term care insurance, universal life insurance, and short-term disability are made available to employees at group rates.
Term life insurance in the amount of 1 times the employee's basic annual earnings is provided to the employee by the city.
