Stormwater/Erosion Control - March 17, 2014

The “dinner and a movie” scheduled tonight at Krankies Coffee as part of Forsyth Creek Week has been postponed out of concern that falling temperatures will make road conditions hazardous. It has been rescheduled for Saturday night, March 22, at 6:30 p.m.

The Camel City Grill food truck, which was to be at Krankies tonight, will not be available Saturday. Creek Week organizers are attempting to schedule another food truck. If a replacement food truck is scheduled it will be posted on the Creek Week website, ForsythCreekWeek.org.

The movie is the 2011 Emmy award-winning documentary “Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time.” “Green Fire” highlights Leopold's career as a conservationist, forester, educator, writer, and outdoor enthusiast and shows how he influenced the modern environmental movement. His thinking continues to shape conservation projects around the world today.
