Community Stories: Carver School

On December 12, 2011, the Forsyth County Historic Resources Commission (HRC) and the Echo Network came together for a day of story collecting. Utilizing the StoryLine van, the HRC was hosted by Carver High School to bring together seven people to gather and record on tape their memories and stories of the Carver School Road area. It was during the Northeast Suburban Planning Area process that the idea of the HRC partnering with the StoryLine Project was born in an attempt to begin collecting some of the rich memories and stories from the residents that lived or at spent time in the area at some point in their lives.
