The Winston-Salem Police Department is a full service, nationally accredited police department with an authorized strength of 559 sworn police officers and a civilian staff of 173. We are committed to providing exceptional law enforcement services, delivered by highly trained professionals who are held to the highest standards. We are committed to working with the community we serve to ensure a safe city and improve the quality of life for all residents.
