Community Band will hold its sixth concert of the season Sunday, August 3, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Miller Park amphitheater on Queen Street Southwest between Miller Park Circle and Knollwood Street. This month’s show includes performances of The Vanished Army, The Watermelon Club, and Bosa Nova Holiday. In the case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Miller Park Recreation Center gymnasium at 400 Leisure Lane. Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early due to the popularity of the show.

Community Band is a collection of local amateur and semiprofessional musicians who produce ten concerts each year. The schedule includes one in the fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, two winter concerts and outdoors programs at Miller Park Amphitheater during the spring and summer. The band is led by Robert Clark.
