Bringing Your Bike on the Bus

Taking your bike on the bus can make it easier to travel longer distances or avoid riding on major streets. This can be a good alternative to riding in the dark or cold weather. All buses operated by Winston-Salem Transit Authority (WSTA) have bike racks on the front of the vehicle. The graphics below show how to load your bike. For more information, call WSTA at (336)727-2000 or visit the WSTA website (opens in a new window).

Cyclists may also board the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) Express Bus with their bicycles when traveling through the Triad Regional service area. For more information, call (800)588-7787 or visit the PART website (opens in a new window).
