Judi Lawson Wallace is the Safe Routes to School Coordinator for Winston-Salem Urban Area, and is also a National Safe Routes to School trainer and consultant who develops biking and walking educational materials and conducts training programs for teachers and other people who work with youth. Safe Routes to School National Partnership (opens in a new window), launched in August 2005, is a fast-growing network of hundreds of organizations, government agencies and professional groups working to set goals, share best practices, leverage infrastructure and program funding and advance policy change to help agencies that implement Safe Routes to School programs.

Walk/Bike to School (opens in a new window) is a website with all kinds of resources to help schools and communities plan walking or biking to school events.
