Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) and Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities (Section 5310) Grants

The purpose of the Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC, or Section 5307) grant program is to support the development and maintenance of transportation services designed to transport welfare recipients and eligible low-income individuals to and from jobs and activities related to their employment.

The purpose of the Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities (Section 5310) grant program purpose is to improve mobility for seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout the country, by removing barriers to transportation services and expanding the transportation mobility options available.

If your organization has a project that it would like considered for funding under JARC and/or Section 5310 please complete the following application and submit it to the address below no later than May 19, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. Applications received after that date and time will not be considered. The Winston-Salem MPO will accept printed, faxed or electronic applications. Each proposal received will be reviewed and scored for its ability to accomplish the goals of the JARC or Section 5310 program and the Winston-Salem Urban Area Human Service Transportation Plan. Recommend proposals will be sent to the FTA for funding consideration. Applications sent via fax, e-mail or mail should be directed to:
