Open House at Wastewater Treatment Plant

More than 50 curious citizens of all ages celebrated Forsyth Creek Week 2019 by attending our open house and tour of the control room at Archie Elledge Wastewater Treatment Plant on March 26. They learned that the millions of gallons of treated wastewater we put back into the Yadkin River is cleaner than the raw water drawn from the river for our water treatment plants. To schedule a tour at any of our water, wastewater or solid waste facilities, contact CityLink Online or call 311 or 336-727-8000.
