The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utility Commission will hold an informational meeting Wednesday, Nov. 3, to solicit public opinion on how the community should deal with solid waste for the next 20 to 25 years.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Room 239 on the second floor of City Hall, 101 N. Main St., Winston-Salem.

The meeting will begin with a brief presentation by members of the Utility Commission Study Team and representatives of R. W. Beck, an independent consulting firm hired to review the commission’s solid waste programs.
