Madison Avenue between Ardsley Street and Sherwood Drive will be closed to through traffic Tuesday, Sept. 6. Construction is expected to take about three weeks.

Melrose Street between Elgin Street and Hawthorne Road will be closed to through traffic Wednesday, Sept. 7. Construction is expected to take about two weeks.

Irving Street between Elgin and Ardsley streets will be closed to through traffic Thursday, Sept. 8. Construction is expected to take about two weeks.

Construction on Gaston Street between Lockland and Gales avenues is scheduled to be completed and the streets reopened to through traffic on Friday, Sept. 9.

Anson Street remains closed to through traffic between Academy Street and Sunset Drive. Work continues on Watson Avenue between Ardsley Street and Sherwood Drive. Traffic is being flagged through.

Utilities is repairing or replacing aging water and sewer lines in the Ardmore neighborhood. The project area is bordered by Hawthorne Road and Watson Avenue to the west, Academy Street to the north, Peters Creek Parkway to the east and Hausman Street to the south.
