Water and Sewer Construction on Lockland Avenue (see map below)

The City/County Utility Division Water and Sewer Construction project will take place starting Monday, June 6, 2011 beginning at Lockland Avenue from Academy Street to approximately 250’ south of Ardsley Street. This is part of the Ardmore Area Water and Sewer Rehabilitation project to upgrade the aging water and sewer system in this area. The overall construction will include laying new water lines, rehabilitating the existing sewer lines along with reconnecting all of the water and sewer services, anticipating completion of work by July 1, 2012.

Water and sewer construction will take place on Monday through Friday during daytime hours. You will have complete access to your homes over the weekends; no work performed at that time. During the work periods, the road is closed to through traffic, on-street parking prohibited and access to your home may be restricted. If you need to enter or leave your home and find yourself blocked or restricted from doing so, ask the contractor to let you in or out and they will promptly do so.
