Announcement of the Byrne JAG Grant Award

The annual 2009 Byrne JAG application period is now open until May 18, 2009. The Winston-Salem Police Department, Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and the Kernersville Police Department will be sharing this grant award of $1,135,565. Funded by the US Department of Justice, the Byrne JAG grant is designed to assist state, local, and tribal law enforcement with improving the criminal justice system.
