Alta Planning + Design will be holding a meeting to gather input on needed bicycle, pedestrian, and transit improvements in the area surrounding Wake Forest University on Thursday, November 14, 2013. The study will address both infrastructure and policy recommendations to improve bicycle, pedestrian, and transit amenities and usage between the WFU campus and surrounding neighborhoods.  The general boundary for the study area is an approximate two-mile radius around the WFU campus.

  • Location: Winston Salem First, Room 100, 3730 University Parkway, Winston-Salem
  • Drop-in – 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Presentation with Group Discussion – 5:30 p.m to 7:00 p.m.

A website,www.walkbikeridewfu.com, has also been created to provide information and allows individuals to submit comments.
