Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the plunging begins at 1:00 p.m.

The Winston-Salem Police Department will be hosting its 5th Annual Polar Plunge for The North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics! A Polar Plunge is a fundraising event where people raise money& for awareness and jump into an outside body of water in the middle of the winter. This is one of the major events we sponsor during the year. Get a team and a theme together and start raising money to "Freeze" for a Reason. This event will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at The Fitness Center, 861 Old Winston Road in Kernersville, NC.
