The Winston-Salem Recreation and Parks Department announced today the start of Teen Night in select recreation centers each Friday, beginning June 22 through August 3.

The program is open to teens ages 13-16 and features free food, video games, sports, music, and other entertainment from 6-10 p.m.

The participating centers include

  • Fourteenth Street Recreation Center at 2020 Northeast Fourteenth Street
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center at 2001 Pittsburg Avenue
  • Polo Park Recreation Center at 1850 Polo Road

“Teen night is a great summer activity that provides our teens with a chance to have fun and socialize in a safe environment," said Tim Grant, director of recreation and parks.
