Construction of three roundabouts has been completed as part of the West Clemmonsville Road widening project, altering the traffic pattern for drivers using the road. The roundabouts are at the intersection with Sides Road and at both sets of entrance-exit ramps for Peters Creek Parkway.

The city is adding a center turn lane to the road between Old Salisbury Road and South Main Street. During construction, tractor-trailer drivers are urged to avoid this area if possible. Construction is projected to be completed in the summer of 2014. For more information about the project go to http://engineering.cityofws.org/ or call CityLink 311.
