Out of School Programs

Winston-Salem Recreation & Parks offers recreation opportunities for children in grades K – 5th when WS/FC Schools are on break or closed. Registration is required for all programs.

Inclement Weather Days

  • Day Camps are offered at select locations when schools are closed due to inclement weather.

After School Program

  • The After School program is designed to provide homework assistance and education through play for elementary aged children. Registration begins Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Spring Break Camp

  • Camp will focus on spring themed crafts, games and nature activities April 3-6 & 10, 2023.

Summer Camp

  • Summer Camps will be offered for eight (8) weeks at multiple recreation centers. Camps will include Camp Discovery (individuals with intellectual disabilities), Teen Camp (rising 6th – 12th graders), WePLAY Summer Camp (rising 1st – 5th graders). Registration begins Saturday, April 1, 2023. 

WePLAY Day Camp

  • WePLAY Day Camps provide a full day of fun on teacher work days.
