core_logo_text

This initiative was developed to engage residents, build strong communities, strengthen neighborhood associations, and promote resident led action.

C.O.R.E. has been designed to:

  • Create a collaborative partnership between the city, stakeholders and neighborhoods
  • Foster cooperation and consensus within neighborhoods
  • Provide a forum for advocacy by neighborhood associations
  • Provide a resource for sharing information and for neighborhood development and training
  • Strengthen and coordinate city departments' responses to neighborhood concerns and service requests

Events & Registration

The Connect Your Community Calendar is a resource to let others know about community events happening in your neighborhood. Neighborhood associations registered with the city’s Neighborhood Services Department can submit events for the calendar. Local non-profit organizations may also submit information about community-focused events.

All events listed on the calendar are, and must be, free and open to the public.
