Small Business

The Development Office offers technical assistance on matters relating to small businesses including "opening a small business" and small business operations. The city’s Small Business Liaison is available to assist small businesses to navigate the process of complying with City/County rules and regulations. The city’s Development Office administers a Small Business Loan Program and other financial assistance programs which eligible businesses can utilize to help start or expand a business. For more information and assistance, contact the Small Business Liaison.

Update regarding Covid-19: The Small Business Loan Program is still active and available despite the suspension of non-essential services and City Hall being closed. Staff is available remotely to review applications and the Small Business Loan Committee is still reviewing applications. Check here for any further updates regarding the Small Business Loan Program.
