Street Sweeping
Importance Street sweeping protects water quality by preventing litter, debris, and sediment from entering storm drains. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA ) has defined street sweeping as a best management practice for preventing stormwater runoff. Street sweeping is also necessary for vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian safety.
Service Services are provided five days a week by staff in the sanitation department and on weekends for special events. CBD ) and the density of housing increases, the cleaning frequency changes from four times and then to five times per year. The Central Business District is swept weekly.
