Construction was complete on this project in November of 2019.

About the Project

The goal of this project is to enhance water quality runoff from the city-owned park to Salem Creek by restoring and enhancing approximately 600 linear feet of stream and retrofitting the existing dog park area to treat runoff and remove pollutants before stormwater runoff flows into Salem Creek. This work included relocating dog park fence, grading ditches, and installing a bioretention area also referred to as a rain garden.
