Paving the way for what the K-9 Unit is today, K-9 Lobo will be remembered for his many accomplishments and service on the Special Enforcement Team.

  • Narcotics Detection
  • Tracking

During his service to the citizens of Winston-Salem he was successful in all of the above listed types of operations, seizing illegal narcotics and apprehending criminals for the safety and security of our community. Additionally, K-9 Lobo was assigned to the Winston-Salem Police Department Special Enforcement Team and was recognized as one of the first dedicated SWAT K-9s in this region of North Carolina.
