Fourth St. emergency closure extended: Oct. 8-22

Starting today, one block of Fourth street will be closed to through traffic between Chestnut Street and Patterson Avenue in Winston-Salem for emergency sewer main repairs. Sidewalks remain open for pedestrians. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 8 at 5 p.m., weather permitting. Fourth Street Closure Extended

Work continues on the 200 block of East Fourth Street. The closure to through traffic between Chestnut Street and Patterson Avenue in Winston-Salem has been extended for emergency sewer main repairs.
