[ARCHIVED] Mayor Joines Hosting Tenth Annual City Hall Holiday Music Series

Mayor Allen Joines is inviting city residents and downtown workers to City Hall to hear traditional and contemporary holiday music during the tenth annual City Hall Holiday Music Series, to be held Dec. 9-13. All performances will be in the lobby of City Hall, 101 N. Main St.

This year’s series will start with a recital by pianist Keith Byrd on Monday, Dec. 9, from noon to 1 p.m. The Glenn High School Chorus will perform Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; the Reagan High School Chorus will sing Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and the Parkland Magnet High School Chorus will perform Thursday, Dec. 12, from noon to 1 p.m. The series will wrap up with two performances on Friday, Dec. 13: The Salem College Chorus will perform from 11 a.m. to noon and the East Forsyth High School Chorus will perform from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Groups from local areas and public schools are scheduled to attend.
