Information Sessions Scheduled on Peacehaven and Polo Road Recommendations

City transportation officials will hold separate information sessions March 4 and March 5 to allow residents to learn about recommendations for improvements to Peacehaven and Polo roads.

The Peacehaven Road information session will be held Wednesday, March 4. A traffic study is recommending new traffic signals at the intersections with Allistair Road and Mountain View Road. The drop-in session will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Jefferson Middle School, 3500 Sally Kirk Road, Winston-Salem.

The Polo Road information session will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at College Park Baptist Church, 1701 Polo Road, Winston-Salem. Residents can review recommendations for pedestrian safety improvements along Polo Road between University Parkway and Wake Drive, including sidewalks, crosswalks, pedestrian signals, pedestrian safety measures, and transit stop improvements.
