The city will resume enforcing on-street parking limits downtown effective Monday, Oct. 5. Parking meters or pay stations must be used if present, and time limits for both metered and unmetered spaces will be enforced. Parking tickets will be issued for violations.

Parking enforcement personnel will be placing notices on the windshields of vehicles parked downtown to raise awareness that enforcement is resuming. The city ceased parking enforcement operations last April as part of a broad suspension of non-essential city services to protect city employees and their families during the pandemic.
