The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) for the Winston-Salem Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WSMPO) serves as a forum for cooperative transportation planning and decision-making for the MPO region which includes Forsyth County and portions of Davie, Davidson and Stokes Counties.  The next meeting of the TAC will be held Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 4:15 PM.  This meeting is being held via teleconference with applicable video access to protect our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Agenda materials for this meeting can also be found at  The below items will be presented during this meeting:

  • FY2020-2029 MTIP Amendments and Modifications
  • 2045 Comprehensive Transportation (Plan) Update and Maps (Public Hearing)
  • Congestion Management Plan Update 
  • NCDOT Performance Measures
  • Amendments to the 2045 Winston-Salem Urban Area MTP (Public Hearing)
  • Public Participation Plan Update
  • FTA Section 5310/5307 Funding Recommendations (Public Hearing)

Staff is accepting public comment and feedback for these items from October 20, 2020 to November 19, 2020.  A public hearing will be held (bolded items) on November 19, 2020 at 4:00 during the TAC meeting.  Please review the attached document for more information.
