[ARCHIVED] Virtual Forum Scheduled for Downtown Services Contract Renewal

The contract for services within the downtown Business Improvement District is up for renewal and the city is holding an online public input meeting Thursday, Nov. 5, to solicit questions and comments about the current level of services.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Details of how to join the meeting are posted at CityofWS.org/BIDforum. The page also has a link to a presentation about the current services provided in the district, and a form for submitting questions or comments in advance.

The district was formed in 2013 and comprises the core of downtown. Businesses and residents within the district pay an annual assessment to fund enhanced cleaning, security, marketing and economic development. More information about the district can be found at CityofWS.org/1352.
