Transportation planners will present a draft of the Winston-Salem Pedestrian Plan during a virtual meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17. A link to register for the meeting is posted at Winston-SalemWalks.com.

The updated plan, titled “Walkable Winston-Salem,” builds on past efforts to create a new vision for walking throughout the city. The plan will be used to prioritize, fund and build sidewalks, crosswalks, greenways and other pedestrian infrastructure.

During the meeting, staff will present the draft plan and solicit input through live polling and a Q&A discussion. Advance registration for the meeting is not required, but encouraged. Those who register in advance will receive a meeting reminder in advance of the meeting.
