Ribbon Cutting Scheduled for Emmanuel Retirement Village

City residents are invited to join Mayor Allen Joines and members of the City Council at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Emmanuel Retirement Village at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at 1605 Village Meadow Circle, a new street off Barbara Jane Avenue in Winston-Salem.

Emmanuel Retirement Village is a new independent living retirement community with 28 one-bedroom apartments and 22 two-bedroom duplexes with garages. The project was developed by Ujima Community Development Corp. and was built with the assistance of $2.5 million in housing bonds voters approved in the 2014 bond referendum.
