  1. PEART-Intro to Biosecurity Involving Animals

    June 15, 2021, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM @ VIRTUAL

Biosecurity – What it is and what it isn’t. This presentation will discuss Biosecurity practices in a variety of operations. We will also discuss the consequences of biosecurity done well and when not done well. This will include highlights of these consequences for the farmer, region and state, along with the potential economic impacts for all of them. This will be a virtual presentation including two lectures and Q&A Sessions during each. Learn what you can do to improve your farm’s biosecurity so you can be part of the solution and not part of the problem and get sources for further guidance in improving your operations. This training will focus on biosecurity as it applies to farms, but many of the biosecurity measures and protocols can be applied to other types of animal response and incidents.
